Villa Michaela is an 18th-century frescoed villa set in the tranquil Tuscan hills of Vorno, at the foot of Monte Zano, just outside the historic walled city of Lucca. Formerly known as Villa Nottolini and long in the hands of the Rhode family, the estate sits amid olive groves and gardens, with easy access to both Florence and Pisa airports.

Most wedding venues give you a single day - Villa Michaela is built around a signature three-night wedding weekend, giving couples and their guests time to properly settle into the Tuscan way of life. Ceremonies can be held in the villa's own private chapel, designed by the renowned Lucca architect Lorenzo Nottolini and seating up to 80 guests, or outdoors amid the olive groves. An in-house team of wedding planners and chefs takes care of every detail, from menus to flowers to entertainment, with internal catering available for up to 120 guests.

Beyond the ceremony and reception spaces, the estate offers a swimming pool and tennis court, along with the kind of picturesque, historic atmosphere that has made Villa Michaela a favourite for both weddings and film and fashion shoots.

The property sleeps up to 35 guests on site - the Main Villa accommodates 24, plus 4 more in a shared area for children and teenagers, while the adjoining Casa Una sleeps a further 11. All bedrooms come with modern comforts including high-speed WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, allowing guests to disconnect from the everyday while still enjoying every convenience.
