Villa Gaudia

Private Tuscan estate in the Chianti hills, where elegance and spontaneity naturally belong

About this venue

Set among the rolling hills of the Chianti countryside, just 20 minutes from Florence, Villa Gaudia is an elegant and welcoming private estate where the beauty of Tuscany becomes the natural backdrop to your wedding day.

Surrounded by greenery and open views across the Tuscan hills, the property offers an intimate sense of privacy while remaining close to Florence and the renowned villages of the Chianti region. Warm terracotta floors, exposed whitewashed beams and bright, carefully designed interiors create an atmosphere that feels both authentic and contemporary — sophisticated enough for a romantic wedding, yet relaxed enough for guests to truly enjoy themselves.

The wedding day unfolds naturally across the property: an aperitivo in the gardens or beneath the white wooden gazebo, a symbolic ceremony or outdoor dinner on the panoramic terrace overlooking the pool, and an evening that carries on late into the night. The infinity pool is one of Villa Gaudia's most distinctive features — a beautiful focal point by day, and an intimate, candlelit setting after sunset.

Should the weather call for it, the Colonnade Room and the Limonaia offer bright, elegant indoor spaces that keep the celebration's character intact, whatever the forecast. Selected accommodation on site — 5 en-suite double bedrooms for up to 12 guests — lets couples extend the celebration into a full Tuscan weekend with their closest family and friends.

Villa Gaudia is a place for couples looking for a Tuscan wedding that feels personal rather than conventional: surrounded by nature, framed by the Chianti hills, and celebrated in a setting where elegance and spontaneity naturally belong.
