Set within a 25-hectare English-style park in the heart of the Golfe du Morbihan's regional nature reserve, Domaine Le Mezo traces its roots back to the 15th century, with the current château built in the mid-1700s. Restored over three years by founders Marie and Sébastien, it was ranked among the world's 100 most beautiful hotels in 2025 by Hôtels & Lodges magazine - 6th in the Design category. The estate is Green Globe certified and holds the European Ecolabel.
The wedding day unfolds across more than 2,000 m² of spaces: welcome guests in the domed 19th-century Grande Serre and its 400 m² terrace overlooking the park, before moving to the Grande Salle - a converted barn with 8-metre ceilings and exposed oak beams, seating up to 300. As night falls, the celebration continues in a genuine Night-Club with a dance floor, resident DJ booth and dedicated bar, while summer weddings can also make use of the 500 m² Safari Tent by the orchard, or the shimmering, fully modular "Nef Scintillante" light structure for a dinner unlike any other.
Every wedding comes with a dedicated wedding planner from the Mezo team, alongside the estate's own restaurant, awarded 2 toques by Gault&Millau. A resident brigade of chefs trained under three-Michelin-starred houses (Anne-Sophie Pic, Alain Ducasse), a dedicated sommelier, and an in-house DJ service complete the experience. Venue hire is €35,000 for 2028 dates. The full wedding estimate of €75,000 includes exclusive use of the Grande Salle, the Grande Serre and the Night-Club, exclusive use of the château (6 rooms, sleeping up to 14 guests), a Champagne cocktail reception with 6 savoury pieces and 2 live workshops, a three-course gastronomic dinner with food and wine pairing, an evening of dancing until 3 am with night bar and DJ, and a brunch, all for 100 guests.
Guests can stay on site in more than 100 rooms, alongside the estate's lodges and yurts, hosting up to 250 guests - from the fully privatised château and seven independent Farm Houses converted from the old stables, to loft-style dormitory suites. Between celebrations, the estate offers a heated indoor pool, a yoga and Pilates studio, a massage space, tennis, pétanque and electric bikes across its grounds. Domaine Le Mezo is just 10 minutes from Vannes and 2.5 hours from Paris by train.
