About this venue
Like a small village of its own, Domaine du Rey is a 65-hectare family estate set at the foot of the corniche des Cévennes, in Occitanie, just 15 minutes from Anduze and 50 minutes from Nîmes. Surrounded by thousands of hectares of wild garrigue hillside, the property has no direct neighbours and no overlook - complete privacy, wrapped in the sun-warmed scents of the South.
The estate offers seven distinct spaces for celebrating: exchange your vows on the lime-tree-shaded Terrasse des Tilleuls or out among nature, before moving to the Pré des Oliviers for a dinner beneath the stars, with a nomad-style lounge tent nearby as a backup for cooler evenings. As night falls, the celebration moves into the stone-walled Grange for dancing until late, while the mulberry-lined pool - big enough for 80 - is the perfect spot for a lazy Sunday brunch the morning after.
Three traditional stone mas, each with its own character, sleep 34 guests on site: La Magnanerie, the largest, with spacious rooms and a lime-tree terrace overlooking its own pool; L'Annexe de la Bergerie, more intimate, shaded by a centuries-old elder tree; and La Clède, reserved for the couple, opening onto a private patio and lawn facing the hills.
Couples have the estate to themselves for three days and two nights, for up to 160 guests, with a dedicated wedding coordinator and an on-site caretaker team on hand throughout the stay. Furniture for the wedding dinner, welcome dinner and brunch, string lighting across the Pré des Oliviers, and an optional evening shuttle for guests are all provided - and couples are free to bring in their own trusted suppliers, with no corkage fee.
